Bob Romine from Pratville, AL, has learned how to catch big bass from Donavan lakes! Bob usually fishes alone and always from the bank. Bob has a vision problem so he uses brightly colored braided line and 9 ft long spinning rods. Bob's bright red truck is custom designed for fishing Donavan Lakes. Actually, Bob and his "fishing uniform" are designed for Club bank and pier fishing. the following nine photos are Bob's catch for the month of April, 2008. Notice the fish are long, heavy bodied, but with flat bellies...post spawn bass. This winter these bass will truely be lunkers. Bob places his camera on a tiny tripod on the hood of his truck and uses a timer for taking the photos.
